The importance of the Holy Quran: The Noble Qur’an is a home to reform the life of the Muslim individual, and it enjoys a great status in the hearts of Muslims because it is the word of the Lord of the worlds.
The Muslim knows that reciting the Quran raises his status with the Lord of the worlds, and that is why he reads the Quran and loves it.
What’s the importance of the Holy Quran?
A Muslim does not dispense with the Holy Qur’an; by it the life of his heart, the light of his sight, and the guidance of his way.
Everything in the life of a Muslim is related to this great book, from it he derives his belief, and with it he knows his worship and what pleases his Lord,
and finally, It has everything you need guidance and instructions in morals and dealings.
So Allah Almighty says in describing the Qur’an:
إِنَّ هَذَا الْقُرْآنَ يِهْدِي لِلَّتِي هِيَ أَقْوَمُ وَيُبَشِّرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ الصَّالِحَاتِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًا كَبِيرًا{الإسراء:9}
Whoever is not guided by this book wastes his life, his future and his destiny, and he walks in the darkness of ignorance, misguidance and loss.
So, Allah Almighty says in describing the Qur’an:
وَمَنْ أَعْرَضَ عَن ذِكْرِي فَإِنَّ لَهُ مَعِيشَةً ضَنكًا وَنَحْشُرُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَعْمَى { طـه:124}
The Noble Qur’an is the Muslim’s guide to the pleasure of God Almighty and his gardens, as it is his guide to happiness in this world and the hereafter, so how can he dispense with it?!
