The Holy Qur’an contains Allah’s message to all people. It tells people how to act correctly.
{ يٰٓأَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اعْبُدُوا رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِى خَلَقَكُمْ وَالَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ }
O people! Worship your Lord who created you and those before you, that you may attain piety
It guides us to a correct way of life in this world. The Book of Allah also talks about life after death.
{يٰٓأَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنٰكُم مِّن ذَكَرٍ وَأُنثٰى وَجَعَلْنٰكُمْ شُعُوبًا وَقَبَآئِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوٓا ۚ إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِندَ اللَّهِ أَتْقٰىكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ }
O people! We created you from a male and a female, and made you races and tribes, that you may know one another.
It tells us that Allah has prepared Paradise for good people and Hell for bad people.
{ إِنَّهُۥ مَن يَأْتِ رَبَّهُۥ مُجْرِمًا فَإِنَّ لَهُۥ جَهَنَّمَ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيٰى (74) وَمَن يَأْتِهِۦ مُؤْمِنًا قَدْ عَمِلَ الصّٰلِحٰتِ فَأُولٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ الدَّرَجٰتُ الْعُلٰى
Whoever comes to his Lord guilty, for him is Hell, where he neither dies nor lives.
The Qur’an encourages the worship of only one God Who creates and provides for them. The Book forbids people from evil and condemns those who do wrong.
{ وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا نُوحِىٓ إِلَيْهِ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۠ فَاعْبُدُونِ }
We never sent a messenger before you without inspiring him that: “There is no god but I, so worship Me.
It contains stories of the past Prophets and the examples of bad and good people.
{ لَقَدْ كَانَ فِى قَصَصِهِمْ عِبْرَةٌ لِّأُولِى الْأَلْبٰبِ ۗ مَا كَانَ حَدِيثًا يُفْتَرٰى وَلٰكِن تَصْدِيقَ الَّذِى بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَتَفْصِيلَ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ }
In their stories is a lesson for those who possess intelligence. This is not a fabricated tale,
But a confirmation of what came before it, and a detailed explanation of all things, and guidance, and mercy for people who believe.
The best among you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous. Allah is All-Knowing, Well-Experienced
People are advised in the Qur’an to be good to others and respect them.
It teaches people to live in peace and harmony.
{ وَإِن جَنَحُوا لِلسَّلْمِ فَاجْنَحْ لَهَا وَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ }
But if they incline towards peace, then incline towards it, and put your trust in Allah. He is the Hearer, the Knower.
